Our Grid Pad Pro devices enable you to communicate and control the world around you, using our powerful Grid 3 software.

The largest Grid Pad Pro is often used in classrooms or mounted at the home or office. It is not suitable for wheelchair mounting. The large screen provides bigger targets that help people with some access difficulties or visual impairment.

The device is built around an 18” tablet with an Intel Quad Core processor and 8GB of RAM. The hard disk is 256GB.

Access options

You can access the Grid Pad Pro using the responsive touch screen. We can also provide key guards to suit your specific needs.

There are also two switch ports available and the option for wireless switch input using the Wireless Joycable accessory. The headphone socket will split the sound ready for auditory scanning.

Two spare USB ports allow for other alternative access devices to be used with the Grid Pad Pro, including a head mouse, joystick or Brainfingers.

Servus Environment control

Inbuilt infrared technology replaces the remote controls that normally operate TV, music centres and other similar systems. Also included is radio control that can operate sockets, alarms and relays.

The revolutionary Grid 3 is included with every Grid Pad providing a complete AAC solution for anyone, from beginners to experts. Fully featured with Symbol and Text communication, social media, in built browser, environment control, SMS and more.

Innovative sound

All Grid Pad Pro devices come with integrated high quality amplified sound, so there is no need for additional speakers.

Flexible mounting

The portable Grid Pad Pro communication aids include integrated stands to position the devices at the optimum angle for table top use. For wheelchair users, or those who prefer a floor stand, the mounting plate is also compatible with REHAdapt and Daessy systems.

Dedicated or standard set-up

For people that only want to use the Grid Pad as an AAC device, we can supply it in dedicated mode. At no additional cost we restrict the device so that only our Grid software can be used.
